Reminiscence - Reflections of the Heart
This morning I woke up humming this song. So coincedently, I found out that today is Steven Curtis Chapman's birthday!
Indeed this song is so wonderfully composed for his loved ones. Surely we too have our own loved ones and let's hum this song along as we remember those people that are important and dear to us.
Today I have 2 special friends whose also birthday fall on this day, Alisha and Catherine.
So I would like to dedicate this wonderful song to you both :)
Happy happy birthday!
Stay strong!
And stay awesome!
**** Start of lyric ****
"I Will Be Here" (by Steven Curtis Chapman)
Tomorrow morning if you wake up and the sun does not appear
I will be here
If in the dark, we lose sight of love
Hold my hand, and have no fear
'Cause I will be here
I will be here
When you feel like being quiet
When you need to speak your mind
I will listen
And I will be here
When the laughter turns to cryin'
Through the winning, losing and trying
We'll be together
I will be here
Tomorrow morning, if you wake up
And the future is unclear
I will be here
Just as sure as seasons were made for change
Our lifetimes were made for these years
So I will be here
I will be here
And you can cry on my shoulder
When the mirror tells us we're older
I will hold you
And I will be here
To watch you grow in beauty
And tell you all the things you are to me
I will be here
I will be true to the promise I have made
To you and to the One who gave you to me
I will be here
Just as sure as seasons were made for change
Our lifetimes were made for these years
So I will be here
I will be here...

Luke 15:10 "In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."
Taiping Mission Trip Report
We are grateful and thankful to God for saving one soul in Taiping!
All praise and honor and glory to His Name :)
Taiping, 10th November.
We finally baptised Aunty Yeoh!
Aunty Yeoh is a mother of Siew Fong, a sister from the Singapore Church. Indeed this is a joyous for her to see her beloved mother decided to follow Christ :)
After ending the Bible discussion with a group of 9 people, we started to prepare for the baptism.
Finding a place to baptise someone in Taiping can be quite a challenge as not we have not access to swimming pools and in addition, most of the hotels with bath tub are fully occupied.
Finally we decided to buy a large inflatable pool that can really fit 2 -4 adults at Tesco earlier shortly after a lunch at my aunt's house in Kamunting.
Lastly, enjoy the photo story below to get a glimpse of the hardwork we put to make it possible.
- the arrival at Siew Fong's house.
- getting the inflatable pool ready
- Cynthia offer her help by pumping air to inflate the pool till it's ready to be poured with water.
- Ang is hard at work to fill the bucket with water
- people involved in Aunty Yeoh's study : Siew Fong and Cynthia
- Aunty Yeoh overlooking the pool as the pool is ready with water
- sharing
- more sharing till Aunty Yeoh is ready to be baptised after counting the cost by Siew Fong
- Aunty Yeoh got into the pool and finally got baptised!
- group photo after the baptism :)
It's truly a hard work, but God bless that day after all and gladly welcome a new soul becoming a part in His kingdom.
To God be the glory! Amen!

Rain of Love
I heard this song from a Japanese anime called "Dragonaut". This song lyric is translated from Japanese and it's really inspiring and touching. Hope you all will like it as well :)
In the instant our eyes met
I had a feeling the sorrow would begin.
These incredible memories still connect our hearts,
even now.
There are as many thousands of people as there are stars.
But all I can see is you.
We may not be able to meet and it may never come true.
But these ever strengthening feelings will surely be eternal.
Even if fate rips us apart,
I will believe that our meeting was a miracle.
It will continue to flow just like this rain.
I just want to shower you with my adoration,
Rain of Love.
In the instant our eyes met

These incredible memories still connect our hearts,
even now.
There are as many thousands of people as there are stars.
But all I can see is you.

Rain of Love.
