Satisfied and gearing up

Spoke and share with the brothers on the mission of seeking and saving the lost.

We shall now gear up to share our faith with eagerness. We also need God to enable us to be bold and courageous just like the disciples of Jesus in the first century time.

We need to learn to do hard things now and expect one another to grow away from our comfort level and towards goals as we progress.

The plan have been laid. Every possible practical also been laid. The next thing to do will be our actions from our hearts, minds and souls.

I'm Daniel, I'm a disciple.

it was like a 'Mafia' game

"OK, let's play Mafia! And now everyone go to sleep."
"Go to sleep, all of you..."
"Mafia, mafia... wake up. Who do you want to kill?"
"OK, mafia... please go to sleep"
Blah... Blah...
"OK, everyon wake up!"
"It's a horrible night... someone died!"

Familiar with game?
Hahaha :D
Now I am going to share with you an unforgettable story that has happened during my trip to KK.

Saturday afternoon.
We got to know that our flight to KK has been delayed for an hour.
But still we eagerly anticipate and willing to wait more longer at McD, killing time by chit-chatting and having meal together.
Finally, it's time to check in our luggages. But the queue was so long, making me pretty irritated by AirAsia's management... "mastaka neh..."

Anyways, we finally boarded the plane and it took off in no times. The flight was pretty rough... lots of turbelances up there. The plane kept shooking up and down, side to side. Scary! And the worst of all, there was drop descent of about 3 to 5 seconds, and it sure makes our hearts racing with sweat and fear and wondering what could be worse.
Nevertheless, it was a total relief when we finally touched down in KK at about 10:30pm.

After retrieving all of our luggages, we walked out to meet Joedee, our tour guide, who waited us outside the arrival hall. And we quickly load up the vans and some followed into his car as well, heading to the hotel for a rest and to get our tummies filled.

The next day after the communion...
It was 10:30am...
The ground was filled with feets shuffling here and there.
Inaudible noise filled the situation.
It was pretty tense.
A woman kept nodding, while cowering her mouth to the cellphone so that she could speak louder.
And the news just arrived. It was a horrible day... someone died!
Apparently, Joedee has committed suicide by inhaling carbon monoxide in his car and in front of his church.

When we recieved the news, most of us couldn't believe it and still in doubt that there could be some foul play along this time. Some of us thought that he just set this up as a ploy to escape himself with the money. Some of us were laughing our heart out over the news because we do not know how to react to it. But alas... later did we know, it seems to dawn on us that the news was pretty very much genuine. We also heard about Joedee's family who went to the police station to make a death report.

After that, we decided to change our plans to something else since we are not even allowed to climb up to the KK mountain. But at least we managed to rent two vans to travel up to Mesilau in the highlands. We had a short and refreshing hike there and managed to marvel at the mountain of Kinabalu. It was a marvelous sight! We took alot of pictures and did alot of poses here and there.

As the evening approaches, we were treated with a sumptous feast of steamboat. But the funny thing is, both Kim Seng and Vinnes became our food rationer. They are pretty good in controlling the food intakes of the brothers. *Hahaha! We also had a game and a time of sharing our thoughts and feelings about the whole trip with everyone, which kinda refreshing in spite of the cold temperature.

The next morning, we woke up after a cold night of sleeping, was really good too. We woke up by the smell of the eggs frying in the kitchen. Some of us were pretty amused by the sight of three brothers who helped to cook the eggs together. Later on, we washed up and did our quiet time and had a morning prayer together while marveling at the sight of the Kinabalu mountain and its terrain. Since the smell of the breakfast got stronger and stronger and we couldn't resisted the hungers triggered by the wonderful smell, we quickly ended our prayer much shorter. . .

Later on, we went to visit the cow farm. We took alot of pictures there and even try to get closer to the cows. We also tasted the fresh milk as well, quite a different taste. Huh, but guess what happen after that? As we about to leave the farm, we ended up having have to pay RM3 per entry per person. Such a cunning marketing scheme...

Anways, we drove back to the city, get back our luggages and head off to the airport. Sooner... we said and wished everyone a goodbye and had a smooth flight back to KK.

P/S: I won't be able to post up any photos here, but you can check it out in Facebook's photo albums. Enjoy!

blink

the den here is pretty dark.
i know some of you have been anticipating when will i start to blog again.

honestly, i can't be bothered to do it. perhaps i need a constant reminder from people, telling me "hey kakibulu, what happen to your blog ah? so silence wan..."
only i will start the engine to write.
there was a rusty sound, you know...
my fingers just wouldn't budge to type - except for work related things.

Hmm.. what should i write here?
I think i need to comment that my Internet speed here is pretty slow.
It became slow since last week because our household Internet usage have violated the broadband's Fair Usage Policy. however, the speed will catch up and go back to the normal speed starting 1st April. well, let's hope the broadband service will not play a trick on that day.

April is coming soon.
too many things to do and to accomplish.
first, this month is the Bibletalk month where we want to take the chance to invite friends to join us and to know God.
next, the upcoming SEA Conference in Singapore in the 2nd week. everybody can't seems to wait for it. some opted to go there by planes, cars, buses and trains. i wonder if there anyone going there by boats?
April also will be the month to set up more Bible studies. i have to really move myself and my group to focus in making God knowns to others. i don't want another fruitless results. i really hope to see fruitful ones.

ah... also i have been eyeing on a particular netbook - the MSI Wind. can't wait to get it soon :)
I have planned to get a new one though as my current laptop of 5 years kept giving me trouble. i know it's going to die anytime.

What a CNY~

25/01
:430am
Start the early morning journey back to Taiping.
Turn on some CNY music on the way back.
Trying to keep my eyes open wide while traveling. Basically just to help my cousin to stay alert as she drove.

:630am
I saw the sign board - Bidor.
Guess what? Nice "wu kok" is over there.
So we all decided to pull over there to have our yummy breakfast!
But alas, we got lost along the way and couldn't find the restaurant. It was still pretty dark and I hardly can spot the buildings along the way. Luckily we made a U-turn and found back the restaurant.
Man... we were all tired and hungry.
Aiks... mana tau the "wu kok" is only ready after 7am? Sigh... so wait lah and order something else.

:730am
Continue our trip back to Taiping again. We reached in an hour time.

:840am
Crash landing into my grandma's room. I realised that she'd installed an aircon in her old wooden house. So tired and sleepy and couldn't be care less... I slept through till 11 something.

:11+am
Grandma prepared noodle for me, despite my declination. The noodle tasted abit weird, but I finished it anyways.

:1pm
finally it's time to savor my grandpa's infamous "Kou Youk"!
Ooh... it tasted soooooooo goooooooood!!!!!!!!
The flavor is soooooooo goooooooood!!!!!!!!!
He make about 30 bowls of it, which the 10 he sold to others while he kept 20 to serve the remaining guests who would come to our house for lunch.

Next day, my aunts and I learned how to cook the "Kou Youk" under the supervision of my grandpa. Quite a task to prepare this meal but it's worth the work! However i accidentally cut 2 of my fingers... gosh... quite deep and bled alot.
Aunts kept complaining that my grandpa loves to sharpen all the knife. Yeap! It's really sharp that I can easily cut the tough meat with much ease :)
Thank God that my fingers still intact >< hehe~
Grandpa was so quick to tend to my injuries. He quickly applied lotion and bandage to my wound. Very grateful to him :)

The next day, I found myself not really having much of an appetite to eat coz i felt my tummy really bloated. I wonder why... which I later found out that I kena food poisoning... so i really had to go to the toilet more than 8 times.

Argh... there goes all my yummy foods!!!

Finally come back to KL. see doctor. pujuk the doctor to give me a medical leave. paid for the ubat. went back home to rest. ate instant noodle from the cup. went online to check mails and catch up buddies online. take ubat and rehydrate my body. in the middle of the night, I had to attend to my bigger nature call 2 times... sigh.......

Now... out of boredom... i type tihs post. Dunno what else want to do, besides waiting for my food to come home. I called Mike to help me to buy some bread and Milo packetes coz I have been famishing today...

Meanwhile, as for you readers, do eat properly so that you can enjoy more foods. don't end up like me ya.

Take care :)
